Shibari

Shibari is a Japanese rope art that can be used for a multitude of purposes. It offers the experience of feeling held or holding someone else. It allows one to practice trust and the act of letting go. Shibari can serve as therapy, play, bondage, and above all, as a beautiful aesthetic art form. I am passionate about both tying and photographing Shibari, often in natural settings but occasionally in the studio as well.
